Due to substantial growth in recent months our client is seeking a passionate, dynamic and versatile Industrial Designer & Product Developer. Our client has an amazing opportunity for an experienced Industrial Designer to research, create, develop and style manufactured products to keep up with latest market trends in Australia. You will be working on a permanent full-time basis and based in their Head Office. This critical role for the business will see you handling client proposals, facilitate prototype development, responsible for R&D development, work closely with the programming and marketing team. Also, you will facilitate design models for the sales team and liaise with all internal stakeholders in the business. You will be joining a well-established business with a fantastic reputation in the industry. This role will see you really mark your mark in the industry and transform workplaces for the better.
Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role you must have the following attributes:

  • Bachelor of Industrial Design or equivalent
  • Experience working with timber products highly desired
  • Ideally a minimum of four years previous experience in a similar role
  • Understanding of the company products and processes
  • Ability to be creative with exceptional problem-solving skills
  • Drawing skills and advanced in skills in software, such as, Auto-Cad & Solid Works
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Passion for furniture and design Extensive market knowledge and in the know with current market trends
  • Someone seeking a longer-term career move
  • Strong tenure with your previous employers
